Rover and Rover is owned and operated by a long time dog lover Marta Wajngarten who has written a number of articles about dogs and was a featured blog writer for Yahoo! Canada Pets Pages. Marta has the dog training bug and has trained in a multitude of dog sports and disciplines including Rally-O, Agility, Flyball, DockDiving, Schutzhund and French Ring.   Marta regularly attends various dog training seminars and courses to better her knowledge of the human-dog interaction and regularly applies these learned skills and experience to improve the lives of the dogs and customers of Rover and Rover.

We have been taking care of Toronto’s four legged family members since 1998, our services have been repeatedly recommended by vets, dog owners, and other dog care professionals. 


We offer Doggy Daycare in our private home with a complimentary pick up and drop off service, Dog Walking for those mid day breaks, and Home Boarding for the spoiled pooches who would never set a paw in a kennel!  We offer our services in select Toronto neighbourhoods, for a complete list please see our Service Area page. 


Whether it’s just a walk or a full day, we always incorporate basic obedience exercises into our activities.  We emphasize a loving balanced approach and believe in helping each dog achieve happiness through exercise, socialization, training, and plenty of TLC.  Our clients often compliment us on the positive changes they witness in their dog’s behaviour.
